Requires Comptroller investigators to complete basic police training approved by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board, or receive a waiver based on prior law enforcement experience

Mandates that all investigators receive a distinct badge clearly identifying Comptroller authorization and containing a unique identification number

Allows the Director of crematory oversight to issue shields or distinctive identification to non-peace officer employees performing security or regulatory duties
