Creates the Illinois Future of Energy Choice and Economic Impact Commission within the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to analyze energy policy challenges that have emerged since the 2021 Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA)

Commission membership includes 4 legislators (appointed by legislative leaders), directors or designees from the Illinois Power Agency, Commerce Commission, EPA, and DCEO, plus representatives from natural gas utilities, electric utilities, nuclear power, renewable energy, business organizations, and labor organizations

Commission duties include analyzing Illinois's ability to remain a net energy exporter, studying economic and workforce impacts of current energy policies, and recommending delays or elimination of energy policy timelines that negatively affect affordability or jobs

DCEO Director or designee serves as Commission Chair; members serve without compensation and must meet at least quarterly

Commission must submit annual reports to the Governor and General Assembly by December 1 each year, with the provision repealing December 31, 2030
