Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code to extend the Department of Healthcare and Family Services Inspector General's authority to the Department of Early Childhood

Allows the Secretary of Early Childhood to request the Inspector General exercise statutory powers related to preventing, detecting, and eliminating fraud, waste, abuse, mismanagement, and misconduct

Requires the Inspector General to report findings directly to the Secretary of Early Childhood when conducting investigations at that department's request

Adds the Department of Early Childhood to existing provisions that already allow the Inspector General to assist the Department of Human Services in similar oversight functions
