Creates the Children's Social Media Safety Act requiring operating system providers to collect user birth date or age at account setup and provide age bracket signals to app operators by January 1, 2028.

Requires social media platform operators to verify whether users are minors (under 18) and applies default privacy protections for minors, including blocking location sharing and financial transactions with non-connected users.

Prohibits operators from providing "addictive feeds" (algorithmically personalized content) to minors without verified parental consent, and bans sending notifications about such feeds between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Mandates parental approval for all new social connections and financial transactions for users under 13, with mechanisms for parents to view connection lists and transaction histories.

Violations constitute unlawful practices under the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act, with the Act taking effect January 1, 2027.
