Appropriates $7,104,357,993 in total General Funds for the Teachers' Retirement System of Illinois for fiscal year 2027, beginning July 1, 2026

Allocates $6,593,862,236 from the Common School Fund for the State's primary contribution to the Teachers' Retirement System

Provides $141,801,757 from the General Revenue Fund for deposit into the Teacher Health Insurance Security Fund for teachers' health insurance

Appropriates $351,110,000 from the Common School Fund to the Public School Teachers' Pension and Retirement Fund of Chicago as a state contribution

Includes $16,884,000 for an additional state contribution to the Chicago teachers' pension fund and $700,000 for minimum retirement allowances and state employer contributions
