Honors Jack Steinman, a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran who served from May 29, 1968 to March 15, 1971 and received numerous military decorations including the Distinguished Service Cross, Silver Star, Bronze Star, and Purple Heart

Requests the Illinois Department of Transportation erect appropriate plaques or signs at suitable locations identifying the memorial highway

Steinman was a Willow Hill resident who worked as a custodian and bus driver at Willow Hill Elementary School for 20 years and was a life member of VFW Post #1769 in Effingham

Directs copies of the resolution be presented to Steinman's family, the Mayor of Willow Hill, and the Secretary of IDOT
