Recognizes Latina women as a driving force behind Illinois' economic growth, with over 14 million Latina workers composing 17% of the female labor force in the U.S.

Acknowledges the Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus (ILLC), established in 2002, for supporting Latina women in legislative leadership positions and preserving Latina heritage

Aims to celebrate cultural and historical contributions of Latinas while raising awareness of challenges they continue to face

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus
