SGAC serves as the premier national association for multi-state government affairs professionals, providing networking and professional development opportunities in a nonpartisan environment

The organization works to enhance communication between public and private sectors, mentor future government affairs professionals, and promote diversity within the profession

SGAC collaborates with legislative bodies, administrative agencies, and community stakeholders to support more responsive, transparent, and accountable state government

A copy of the resolution will be presented to SGAC as an expression of esteem and respect from the Illinois House
