Creates a Landlord-Tenant Task Force to study challenges faced by both landlords and tenants in Illinois, including eviction processes, squatter situations, housing discrimination, and community safety issues

Task Force membership includes 6 House Representatives (3 appointed by Speaker, 3 by Minority Leader), plus representatives from landlord, tenant, realtor, and homeless advocacy associations, a community organization, a housing law expert, and 2 local government officials

All members serve without compensation, with the Illinois Housing Development Authority providing administrative support

Task Force charged with reviewing current landlord-tenant laws, developing best practices for eviction notices and timelines, recommending legislative changes, and promoting community engagement through forums, workshops, and educational programs

Final report due to the House of Representatives by December 31, 2026, after which the Task Force dissolves
