Memorial resolution mourning the death of Illinois Education Association (IEA) President Albert "Al" Llorens, who passed away on September 25, 2025

Llorens taught high school math at Thornridge High School for over 30 years and served as girls cross country track coach

Spearheaded the Ethnic Minority and Emerging Leadership Training program to support IEA members, particularly Black and Brown members, in developing leadership skills

Earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Illinois and a Master of Science in Curriculum & Instruction from National Louis University

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to his surviving family, including his wife Wanda and children Leslie, Ashley, and Cayse
