Congratulates Michael K. "Mike" Durkin on his induction into the University of Illinois Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2025, with the ceremony held on October 10, 2025 at the State Farm Center

Recognizes Durkin's track and field achievements at the University of Illinois (1971-1975), including nine Big Ten championships, five top-ten NCAA finishes, All-American honors, and running a sub-four-minute mile

Honors Durkin's Olympic career, having qualified for both the 1976 and 1980 U.S. Olympic Teams and competing in Montreal in 1976 (the 1980 Moscow games were boycotted)

Acknowledges Durkin's legal career as a Chicago native who graduated from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1978 and became a founding partner of Storino, Ramello & Durkin, specializing in municipal and labor/employment law

Notes his current service as village attorney for Elmwood Park and Burr Ridge, and township attorney for Proviso Township in Cook County
