Congratulates Ross Garrett Wolf, a native of Newton, Illinois and former MLB pitcher, on his selection to the National Athletic Hall of Fame for 2025

Wolf was named MVP of the 2001 Class A IHSA State Championship team at Newton High School, pitching extra innings in the championship game against Benton High School

Drafted by the Montreal Expos in 2001 (47th round) and Florida Marlins in 2002 (18th round), Wolf pitched for the Baltimore Orioles, Oakland Athletics, Houston Astros, Texas Rangers, and the SK Wyverns in Korea before retiring in 2016

Set the Triple-A record for appearances as a reliever with over 100 for the Albuquerque Isotopes and achieved 12 wins in a season with the Round Rock Express

A copy of the resolution will be presented to Wolf at his induction ceremony on November 21, 2025 at the Teutopolis Banquet Hall
