Honors Dakota Welch, the youngest of five children born to Sheila and Keegan Welch, who aspired to become a pediatric mental health nurse

Recognizes his involvement in soccer, fishing, and hockey, as well as his faith community at Village Christian Church in Minooka

Acknowledges the establishment of the Dakota Welch Memorial Fund by his family to provide grants and scholarships to the community

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the Welch family as an expression of sympathy from the Illinois House of Representatives
