Congratulates FamilyCore on its 125th anniversary of service to Peoria, Illinois and surrounding areas

FamilyCore was originally established in 1900 as Associated Charities and Philanthropies, later became Family Welfare Association of Peoria (1935), then Child and Family Services (1939), and adopted its current name in 2010

The organization serves more than 17,000 clients and families annually with services including adoption, counseling, foster care, single parent programming, youth outreach, anger management, and foster parent resources

The resolution thanks FamilyCore for promoting safe environments for children and families in the Peoria area and directs that a copy be presented to the organization
