E'Leric Donae Lyon was born April 19, 2001 in Beach Park, Illinois, graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School, and participated in NJROTC and played clarinet for over 12 years

She worked in the security field and was known for creating viral social media videos

E'Leric Lyon was murdered by her partner on June 12, 2025, and her family hopes her memory will help prevent other domestic violence homicides and provide justice for victims' families

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to E'Leric Lyon's family as an expression of esteem and respect
