Congratulates Whiteside Middle School Warriors on winning the 2025 Southern Illinois Junior High School Athletic Association Class L Baseball State Championship

The team finished with a 21-1 season record and won the first baseball championship in school history

Playoff victories included wins over Wolf Branch Middle School (9-1), Washington Middle School (1-0), Du Quoin Middle School (15-2), and Waterloo Jr. High School (7-3) in the championship game

Head Coach Troy Griffith led the team alongside Assistant Coaches Matt Thrune, Mike McGehee, and Sherwin Lockridge
