Congratulates the Sauk Trail Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) on its 100th anniversary on July 15, 2026

The chapter was organized on July 15, 1926, when 13 members met with Illinois State Regent Anna May Bowman at the Chicago Heights home of Anna Clayton

The chapter was named after the Sauk Trail to honor the historical significance of the trail and the early settlers who built homes along it

The chapter supports NSDAR goals of education, historic preservation, and patriotism at national, state, and local levels

The chapter donates food, clothing, books, funds, and services to local schools, libraries, veterans, first responders, the Veterans' Home at Manteno, Honor Flight Chicago, Wreaths Across America, and other community organizations
