Charter member and only living founding member of VFW Harry Anderson Post 9545 in New Lenox; lifetime member of New Lenox Sportsman's Club and serves on the board of the New Lenox Area Historical Society

Father of 10 children, grandfather of 20, and great-grandfather of 12
