Illinois House of Representatives congratulates the La Harpe Junior High School/Dallas City Elementary School Co-op eighth grade girls basketball team, the Lady Eagles, on winning the 2025 IESA Class 8-1A State Championship

The Lady Eagles defeated Oakland Lake Crest Elementary School Titans 35-27 in the championship game and finished the season with a 25-2 record

The team achieved back-to-back state championships, having also won the 2024 IESA Class 7-1A State Championship

Head Coach Dave Clover and Assistant Coach Jacki Wibbell lead the 10-member team including players Payton Doss, Jamie Heath, Alyssa Marsden, Madi McCarter, Alex Miller, Journey Miller, Reagan Pindell, Kinley Thompson, Aly Wibbell, and Maci Wibbell

Suitable copies of the resolution will be presented to the coaches and players as an expression of respect and esteem
