Illinois House Resolution congratulating the Mendota Township High School boys soccer team (Trojans) for finishing as 2025 IHSA Class 1A State Runner-Up

Team compiled a season record of 24 wins and 4 losses

Trojans defeated St. Edward High School, Schaumburg Christian School, Genoa-Kingston High School, Harvest-Westminster High School, Quincy Notre Dame High School, and Coal City High School to advance to the state final

Team led by Head Coach Nick Myers with Assistant Coaches Rey Arteaga, Danny Hernandez, and Tom Bender

Resolution directs that suitable copies be presented to the coaching staff and 24 team players as a symbol of esteem and respect
