Acknowledges the Illinois America 250 Commission's mission to promote inclusive public engagement, educational initiatives, and civic participation around the anniversary

Encourages Illinois residents, municipalities, educational institutions, cultural organizations, civic groups, and businesses to participate in activities examining shared history and promoting democratic principles

Supports efforts to strengthen history, heritage, and cultural organizations including archives, museums, libraries, and historic sites to ensure broad public access to Illinois' diverse histories

Endorses expanding access to high-quality civics education that prepares individuals for democratic participation with understanding of founding ideals and diverse community contributions
