Born in Pontiac on July 9, 1962; earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Illinois State University

Dedicated his healthcare career to addiction medicine, leading the Addiction Recovery Center at Proctor Hospital for many years and most recently serving on Carle Health's Trillium Place team

Survived by his wife of 32 years, Jenny; stepdaughter Jessica; two grandsons; his parents; brother Rodney; and extended family

Illinois House of Representatives extends condolences and directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to his family
