Requires Illinois legislators who take official action on a matter despite having a conflict of interest to file a written disclosure statement with the Clerk of the House or Secretary of the Senate

Disclosure statements must specify the legislative matter involved and affirm the legislator is voting in the public interest despite the conflict

Mandates that conflict disclosure statements become part of the official legislative record and be posted publicly on the Illinois General Assembly website alongside other bill documents

Amends Section 3-203 of the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act, which currently only advises legislators to serve the public interest when acting despite conflicts

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
