Requires the State Board of Elections, working with local election authorities, to implement a secure, free ballot tracking system for vote by mail voters by January 1, 2026

Allows voters to track the delivery and receipt of their mail ballot by the election authority

Enables voters to check whether their mail ballot was accepted for counting, and if rejected, the reason for rejection

Election authorities must make the tracking system available from the first day mail ballots are accepted until 30 days after the official canvass is completed

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
