Prohibits the manufacture of food products for human consumption containing potassium bromate (CAS 7758-01-2) or propylparaben (CAS 94-13-3) beginning January 1, 2027

Prohibits the sale, delivery, distribution, holding, or offering for sale of food products containing these substances beginning January 1, 2028

Civil penalties for violations: up to $5,000 for first violation and up to $10,000 for each subsequent violation

Enforcement authority granted to the Attorney General or the State's Attorney of the county where the violation occurred

Violations of this new section are exempt from criminal misdemeanor penalties that apply to other provisions of the Illinois Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act
