Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to create enhanced felony penalties for aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer based on injuries caused

Class 3 felony for causing bodily injury to any bystander or member of the public during the offense

Class 2 felony for causing bodily injury to the pursuing peace officer

Class 1 felony for causing great bodily injury or disablement to the pursuing peace officer

Current law establishes a Class 4 felony for first violations and Class 3 felony for subsequent violations; new injury-based penalties would supersede these baseline classifications
