Requires group and individual health insurance policies, managed care plans, and HMOs to cover karyotype tests and related hormone testing to diagnose Klinefelter syndrome, effective January 1, 2027

Extends this coverage requirement to the State Employees Group Insurance Program, self-insured counties, self-insured municipalities, and school district employee health plans

Applies the coverage mandate to the medical assistance (Medicaid) program and voluntary health services plans

Adds Section 356z.80 to the Illinois Insurance Code establishing the Klinefelter syndrome testing coverage requirement

Department of Insurance is responsible for enforcing coverage requirements for applicable health plans
