Upgrades aggravated assault against a teacher on school grounds, grounds adjacent to a school, or in buildings used for school purposes from a Class A misdemeanor to a Class 4 felony

Creates a new separate category (subsection 2.1) specifically for teachers, distinguishing them from other school employees who remain covered under the existing Class A misdemeanor provision

Amends Section 12-2 of the Criminal Code of 2012 (720 ILCS 5/12-2)
