Amends the Military Leave Act to create paid leave for employees who participate in military funeral honors details for veterans, allowing up to 8 hours per month and 40 hours per calendar year

Applies only to employers with 51 or more employees; eligible employees include active or retired armed forces members, National Guard members, and members of veterans service organizations trained in funeral honors

Requires employers to pay employees their regular rate of pay for funeral honors detail leave, which can be taken without first exhausting vacation, personal, sick, or other leave time

Employers may request documentation from the veterans service organization or official notice confirming the employee's participation in the funeral honors detail

Employers at care facilities (nursing homes, assisted living, etc.) may deny leave requests if granting them would reduce staffing below minimum levels or impair safe operations, unless a collective bargaining agreement provides otherwise
