Expands aggravated assault protections to include contractors (not just subcontractors) of the Department of Human Services who supervise or control sexually dangerous persons or sexually violent persons

Extends aggravated battery protections to officers and employees of contractors or subcontractors of the Department of Human Services working with sexually dangerous or sexually violent persons

Covers assaults and batteries committed against these workers while performing official duties, to prevent performance of duties, or in retaliation for performing duties

Adds contractor/subcontractor employees to the list of protected persons when inmates or detained sexually dangerous/violent persons throw blood, seminal fluid, urine, or feces at staff

Amends Sections 12-2 and 12-3.05 of the Criminal Code of 2012 (720 ILCS 5)
