Expands the definition of "curriculum-related or career-related activity" for student transportation to include trips to colleges, universities, or student job sites developed through school partnerships, as well as experiences that contribute to college or career readiness

Allows students in grades 9-12 to be transported in multifunction school activity buses (MFSABs) for career-related activities in addition to curriculum-related activities

Standardizes terminology throughout the School Code and Illinois Vehicle Code by changing "multi-function school-activity bus" to "multifunction school activity bus" and "Individualized Education Plan" to "individualized education program"

Maintains existing requirements that MFSAB drivers must hold valid school bus driver permits and that vehicles must comply with specified Illinois Vehicle Code sections

Continues to prohibit MFSABs from being used for regular home-to-school or school-to-home transportation routes
