Amends Section 4-101 of the Illinois Pension Code concerning downstate firefighters' pension funds

Makes a technical change only, replacing one instance of the word "the" with an identical word "the" (a formatting correction with no substantive effect)

Does not alter any policy, benefits, funding requirements, or administration of firefighters' pension funds

Municipalities must still establish and administer firefighters' pension funds for firefighters and their surviving spouses, children, and dependents as currently required
