Expands eligibility for Fire Chief license plates to include chiefs of Mutual Aid Box Alarm Systems, in addition to fire chiefs, deputy fire chiefs, and assistant fire chiefs of municipal fire departments and fire protection districts

Authorizes chiefs of Mutual Aid Box Alarm Systems to operate vehicles with red or white oscillating, rotating, or flashing lights when responding to bona fide emergencies, provided they complete an approved emergency vehicle operation training course

Permits vehicles operated by chiefs of Mutual Aid Box Alarm Systems to be equipped with sirens, whistles, or bells for use when responding to emergency calls

Requires Fire Chief license plates to be surrendered to the Secretary of State upon resignation, termination, or reassignment from a Mutual Aid Box Alarm System position

Applies to passenger vehicles, motorcycles, autocycles, or motor vehicles weighing not more than 8,000 pounds owned by the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System or its chief
