Adds trauma-informed programs, procedures, and practices designed to minimize victim traumatization to the mandatory curriculum for probationary law enforcement officers at certified police training schools

Requires trauma-informed victim response training as part of the minimum in-service training that law enforcement officers must complete every 3 years, alongside existing requirements like constitutional use of authority, civil rights, and cultural competency

Expands sexual assault and sexual abuse training programs to include instruction on identifying conflicts of interest and options to address those conflicts when a responding or investigating officer is familiar with the victim or the accused

Amends the Illinois Police Training Act (50 ILCS 705) Sections 7 and 10.21 to incorporate these new trauma-informed training requirements
