Allows nonresident public safety workers to operate authorized emergency vehicles in Illinois if they possess the appropriate license class required by their home state to operate similar equipment

Amends Section 6-104 of the Illinois Vehicle Code regarding driver classification and special restrictions

Creates an exception to existing licensing requirements that would otherwise require Illinois-specific licensure for operating certain vehicle types within the state

Defines eligible operators by reference to "public safety worker" as defined in Section 6-117.2 and "authorized emergency vehicle" as defined in Section 1-105 of the Vehicle Code
