Prohibits health insurance issuers from requiring prior authorization for any prescription drug that has been prescribed to a patient for 6 or more consecutive months, including non-preferred medications

Eliminates prior authorization requirements for insulin and its FDA-approved therapeutic equivalents

Removes prior authorization for HIV prevention and treatment medications, viral hepatitis medications, estrogen, and progesterone

Specifically exempts FDA-approved HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) drugs from prior authorization, including brand names Truvada, Harvoni, Descovy, and Apretude

Amends the Illinois Prior Authorization Reform Act by adding Section 52
