Authorizes municipalities and local governments to install and maintain specialized traffic control devices at intersections where emergency response vehicles enter roadways

Permits placement of these devices within 1,000 feet of structures where emergency vehicles are stored, such as fire stations

Allows emergency response units or fire stations to directly control these traffic devices when emergency vehicles are entering or exiting traffic

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code by adding new Section 11-306.1
