Requires law enforcement agencies to publish monthly homicide data on their websites, including the total number of homicides based on victim time of death, how many resulted in arrests and charges, and how many were cleared or closed without an arrest

Mandates that law enforcement agencies submit the same homicide data to the Illinois State Police in a form and frequency determined by the State Police

Website publication must occur by the end of the month following the reporting month (e.g., January data due by end of February)

Amends the Uniform Crime Reporting Act by adding new homicide transparency requirements to existing monthly reporting obligations for law enforcement

Effective January 1, 2026
