Expands the Illinois Board of Dentistry from 11 members to 13 members

Increases dentist representation on the board from 8 to 10 members, all of whom must have practiced for 5 years or more

Requires at least one board member to hold a permit for administering moderate sedation and at least one to hold a permit for deep sedation and general anesthesia

Maintains existing requirements for 2 dental hygienist members with 5+ years experience and one public member

Preserves existing term limits (4-year terms, maximum 2 full terms per lifetime) and conflict of interest restrictions for dental school faculty
