Extends mental health parity requirements to disability insurance and disability income insurance policies, requiring that benefits for mental, emotional, nervous, or substance use disorders be no more restrictive than benefits for physical conditions

Prohibits insurers from applying separate payment limitations or coverage limitations that apply only to mental health and substance use disorder benefits under disability insurance policies

Expands the definition of "treatment limitation" to include benefit payments under disability insurance or disability income insurance policies and certificates

Applies to all group and individual disability insurance policies that are amended, delivered, issued, or renewed in Illinois after the effective date
