IL SB1329

Amends the School Code to allow the State Superintendent of Education to notify a license holder's current or most recent employer when the educator is under investigation for alleged misconduct that threatens student safety

Employer notification applies to public schools, school districts, charter schools, special education cooperatives, nonpublic schools, nonpublic special education facilities, and public school residential facilities

Misconduct triggering notification includes serious physical injury, sexual misconduct, or sex offenses as defined in the School Code

Investigation disclosure authority is added as a new subsection (e-5) to the existing Section 21B-75 governing suspension or revocation of educator licenses
