IL SB1409

Requires the Department of Natural Resources to adopt rules within one year extending waterfowl shooting time to 30 minutes after sunset on at least one day per week during waterfowl hunting seasons, subject to federal law

Authorizes hunting hours for waterfowl between one-half hour after sunset and one-half hour before sunrise to be established by administrative rule, to the extent permitted by federal law

Amends existing prohibition on hunting wild game between one-half hour after sunset and one-half hour before sunrise to create an exception for waterfowl (in addition to the existing exception for fur-bearing mammals)
