Establishes the State Instructional Technology Advisory Board within the State Board of Education to provide guidance, oversight, and evaluation of education technologies, including artificial intelligence, with 17 members serving 2-year terms

Requires development of standards for AI technology used in schools covering safety, transparency, data privacy, and educational quality, with a rubric to evaluate AI tools against these standards

Mandates the State Board publish an evaluated list of AI tools commonly used in Illinois schools by December 31, 2025, and annually by July 1 thereafter, allowing educators to request evaluations of specific tools

Requires guidance for districts and educators on AI use in education, including basic AI concepts, best practices for implementation, addressing bias and privacy concerns, and developing student AI literacy

Expands annual school district technology reports to include information on student, teacher, and district use of artificial intelligence
