Waives the $25 fee for obtaining a commission as an electronic notary public in Illinois for a 2-year period from the effective date of the act

Reduces the surety bond requirement for electronic notaries performing remote or audio-video notarizations from $25,000 to $5,000 for a 2-year period

Maintains the standard $5,000 bond requirement for all notary public commissions during the waiver period

Amends the Illinois Notary Public Act (5 ILCS 312) by modifying Sections 2-103 and 2-105

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
