School districts serving kindergarten through grade 3 must report early literacy screener information to the State Board of Education by the 30th day of the 2026-2027 school year

Districts must report which early literacy screeners they use, what skill areas the screeners identify, which grade levels are assessed, and how frequently screeners are administered

State Board of Education must submit a report to the General Assembly by January 1, 2027 outlining the collected early literacy screener data

The report must be posted publicly on the State Board of Education's website by March 1, 2027

The reporting requirement automatically expires on July 1, 2027
