Violations constitute unlawful practices under the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act, with enforcement authority granted to the Attorney General

Creates a private right of action allowing injured persons to sue for compensatory damages, treble damages, attorney's fees, and injunctive relief

Pre-dispute arbitration agreements and class action waivers are unenforceable at the election of plaintiffs bringing claims under this Act
