IL SB2102

Amends the Property Tax Code to explicitly allow taxing districts to file their budget and appropriation ordinances with the county clerk either electronically or via paper submission

Requires county clerks to accept electronic filings and provide a receipt to the taxing district as acknowledgment

Maintains the existing 30-day deadline for taxing districts to file certified copies of appropriation and budget ordinances after adoption

Preserves the county clerk's authority to refuse to extend a tax levy if required documents are not filed, after providing timely notice to the taxing district

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
