Increases the annual state-paid award for county clerks, county recorders, and chief clerks of county boards of election commissioners from $6,500 to $13,000 in 2025, $14,000 in 2026, and $15,000 in 2027 and thereafter

Applies to counties with fewer than 2,000,000 inhabitants in Illinois

Awards are distributed by the State Board of Elections through annual lump sum payments and are separate from regular county-paid compensation

Counties are responsible for state and federal income tax reporting, withholding, and employer pension contributions on these stipends

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
