Extends the sunset date for the Illinois Athletic Trainers Practice Act and the Respiratory Care Practice Act from January 1, 2026 to January 1, 2031

Eliminates the Illinois Board of Athletic Trainers, transferring all advisory and regulatory functions directly to the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation

Reduces the Respiratory Care Board from 7 members to 5 members (3 respiratory care practitioners, one medical director, and one hospital administrator instead of two)

Expands respiratory care practitioner scope of practice to include administration of vaccinations for respiratory illness prevention to patients 18 years and older under physician prescription or standing order, following completion of required training

Adds requirement for all applicants and licensees under both Acts to provide and maintain current email addresses of record with the Department, with updates required within 14 days of any change
