Requires workplace violence prevention programs to include systems for identifying persons who previously committed violent acts, adequate security measures, alarms, exit routes, monitoring systems, and emergency response procedures

Mandates health care providers investigate workplace violence incidents within 48 hours, maintain incident logs, and submit annual reports to the Department of Public Health summarizing violent incidents

Establishes penalties of $500 per day for failure to submit a workplace violence prevention program within 6 months, with fines up to $1,000 per day for subsequent violations of approved correction plans, capped at $365,000 annually
